A 1mL test bacterial solution was applied to the surface (16㎠) of IKD Antimicrobial Stainless Steel series round plates, then incubated at 25°C for 24 hours.
After which, testing was conducted using the following method.
For the control, a 1mL test bacterial solution was applied to the surface (16㎠) of a plastic plate and incubated at 25°C for 24 hours.
After which, the same testing procedure was performed as follows.
The inoculated area (16㎠) was wiped with a swab, and the swab was agitated in 10mL of diluent.
For E. coli, 1mL of the suspension was mixed into measurement culture medium and incubated at 37°C for 24 hours. For Staphylococcus aureus, 0.1mL of the suspension was spread onto measurement culture medium and incubated at 37°C for 48 hours, and the number of colonies formed was measured.
The above experimental data was conducted at the "Niigata Prefectural Institute of Environmental Hygiene Research." Before and after this period, testing was repeated, and the antimicrobial properties of the IKD Antimicrobial Stainless Steel series
were confirmed.
